Honestly, none of the conspiracy theories I've run across is particularly compelling. For example:
"Back and to the left" is often used as proof that the shooter of the fatal shot must have been in front of, and to the right of Kennedy. There are three main problems with this:
1) the fact that the material we see is moving forward means that if the shot came from the front, that must be from an entry wound-but entry wounds don't work that way.
2) it ignores the "jet effect" that shows that when you expel a large amount of material from an object, the object moves the other way. It's not exotic-it's the principle behind jet engines and rockets.
3) if you examine the Zapruder film closely, you see something happen the frame before the "famous" one-Kennedy's head moves forward. It wasn't doing that the frame before that, so we've either got to conclude that Kennedy moved his head forward for 1/12 of a second, and it happened to be the last 1/12 of a second before he was shot, or that something pushed his head forward. Something like a bullet would do exactly that.
I'm also not convinced that Oswald being a "bad" shot proves anything. It took him three shots with a scoped rifle that he was familiar with to sucessfully hit a target that was moving slowly almost directly away from him, from less than 80 yards, and he completely whiffed on one-not only did he not hit Kennedy, he didn't even hit the limo. Other shooters have duplicated the firing rate, and it most cases, did as well or better than Oswald..
This is a pretty broad question. One fact of the matter is that Kennedy's head jerked back and to the left when the final shot struck his head. I'm not a conspiracy nut, but I think there was more than one shooter, because Oswald's angle just wasn't plausible. Oswald was actually only a marksman, the lowest rank you can be in the military when it comes to being a sharpshooter. Several other, much higher ranking sharpshooters have tried to emulate what Oswald supposedly did. They couldn't do it. That being said, I highly doubt any sort of LBJ or Nixon scheme was involved, because there isn't any real evidence. A perfect motive isn't enough.
my theory is president kennedy was assassinated for his part in supporting the civil rights movement. as other leaders who made/attempted to move forward the rights of blacks in america. (ie: president lincoln, robert kennedy, dr. martin luther king)
All I need to say or prove is what the government stated in the Warren Comission papers. Magic Bullet. No bullet could do what it did, no bullet would be in pristine condition if it somehow actually did do it.
