How i met you mother is an awesome show. Icant stop watching.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer! The first main gay/bi character and couple in television history were on that show! Also the person who wrote most of the episodes in Once Upon a Time was one of the main writers on Buffy! The first one and half seasons of the show are kinda campy but starting with the episode Innocence it slowly becomes one of the best shows of all time. Start with the episode Earshot from Season 3 or Hush from season 4 to get a good sense of what the show is about without watching the horrible first season. Trust me, it's worth it. :)
Hmmmm the most gay tv show ever I have watched is Queer as Folk, so if you wanna watch something gay that's your best choice.
In a second by far less gay but somewhat gay is Brothers and SIsters where one of the protagonist is gay, and the other ones is Desperate Housewives where one recurrent guy is gay.
If you want something more specific then I'm not sure I like many shows mostly comedies, but those three are good dramas with someone gay around specially QAF which is very very gay :P
I recommend you to watch Breaking Bad for just a drama that one is awesome and Prison Break as Cristobal said is good too

I've been in dire search of a new TV series to watch. My absolute favorites include: Awkward, Once Upon a Time, Attack on Titan, The Walking Dead, and Faking It. I'm looking more towards a show that features a gay teenage boy who might be seeing how the world is and growing up and such. But if you can think of anything based of the others I will give it a shot! I've been thinking about Orange is the new black, but haven't been motivated enough to watch it. ABC shows look good, but I don't know which to start. :/
