Even though Reign and The Vampire Diaries haven't finished, it's definitely worth watching them. Other shows that have finished are The Tudors (people who like Game of thrones often like this) , Nikita, but a lot of the good shows are the ones currently on tv, and I would recommend checking out the CW network, and possibly Abc! Six Feet Under is a great series to start watching, along with House, Twilight Zone.
The Walking Dead, It has not finished but you could do what i done, because i started watching it at the end of season 3 so i just watched it online or if you have Lovefilm that has 2 season's
