My top 3 TV series are Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, and South Park... and Breaking Bad is a close fourth... I mean, all of those shows are incredibly good... on any different day I might shuffle my order of preference.
Yeah, South Park... I just watched an episode, and nothing has ever made me laugh so hard as that show.
My love of Doctor Who traces back to childhood... but 8 years into the new series, it is still captivating, a perfect science-fiction hit. Not every episode is truly great, but the ones that are will have you thinking about them for the rest of your life.
And Game of Thrones... I have always liked epic fantasy, but this is the show that I never realise that I wanted until I saw it. For a show to be so globally recognised as amazing, and still be so brutally realistic and visceral and steeped in character depth, is a wonderful thing. Can't wait for the next season, it always delivers on great and unpredictable story developments.
