the mentalist..awesome show with brilliant acting and story. The show follows Patrick Jane, an independent consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI) based in Sacramento, California. Although not an officer of the law, he uses skills from his former career as a successful yet admittedly fraudulent psychic medium to help a team of CBI agents solve murders. The ultimate goal of Patrick Jane in his cooperation with the CBI is to track down the serial killer known as "Red John," who was responsible for the brutal murders of his wife and daughter .If you like suspense this is the show for you! start from season 1 or you be lost.so give it a try! it is my favourite show :)

Sherlock: modern day sherlock holmes. this show depicts "consulting detective" Holmes, assisting the Metropolitan Police Service, primarily Detective Inspector Greg Lestrade in solving various crimes. Holmes is assisted by his flatmate, Dr John Watson, who has returned from military service in Afghanistan. this is also an awesome show..you will get really addicted!
Castle: a show it about the lives of Richard Castle , a best-selling mystery novelist, and Kate Beckett , an NYPD homicide detective, as they solve various unusual crimes in New York City.great show !
Perception:The series stars Eric McCormack as Dr. Daniel Pierce, a schizophrenic neuropsychiatrist who assists the FBI on some of their most complex cases.
Devious maids: The show is about four Latina maids working in the homes of Beverly Hills’ wealthiest and most powerful families, and a newcomer who made it personal after a maid was murdered and determined to uncover the truth behind her demise, and in the process become an ally in their lives.
american horror story and supernatural are great too if you like the horror genre!

You clearly love all different types of shows, I've seen a lot,
Shows that are really well rounded AND moving are, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Six Feet Under, True Blood, Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural, 24, PRISON BREAK, Pretty Little Liars, Weeds, Fringe, American Horror Story (SAME WRITER AS NIP/TUCK) The X-Files, Will & Grace, Vampire Diaries.
You should watch Devious Maids, its brilliant and written by the same writer who wrote Desperate Housewives plus its produced by Eva Longoria who played Gabriella in DH.
Once upon a time is BRILLIANT full of suspense, drama amazing show.
Pretty little liars is so good.
For something more tame and sweet with real life dramas try switched at birth or the fosters.
Breaking bad is great for something more dark humored.
And possibly one of the best shows ever made go for Game of thrones but be warned...the writer of the books has stated that he WANTS his fans to be scared, and he will kill your favorite characters just because he can but its a FANTASTIC show and so unpredictable. No character is safe and thats what makes it brilliant!
Fringe is awesome, bet you love that. And of course The Walking Dead
