Well Nixon got paranoid,and Resigned after striking a deal with Gerald Ford to pardon his behind.He actually was a good president he just got busted at a time when the Nation was fighting a supposed 200,000 strong enemy which was actually closer to 2 million.The tapes from what books I have read and we're written some of them by people involved in the cover up.There was a safe containing very complicated tapes from Nixon and his special agents unlawfully recording people involved in JFK'S assassination and Vietnam scandals involving high Ranking Generals and Congressional people making secret deals that didn't happen according to them.Sometimes things are not as they seem,BUT sometimes they are exactly as seen!
It changed the course of History. Nixon did not complete his second term. Ford became the first non-elected president & Carter won the presidency, while the economy went south. Carter & Clinton would not have won, because the Demoncrat party lost all respect due to Johnson & the war.
As an English man I didnt take a lot of notice of it,but can remember Richard Nixon who was the President at the time was blamed for it,but it was reported the next President in office pardoned him.
