What will end up happening in Egypt? (10pts)?

An endless civil war much as in Lebanon. The munitions merchants make a bundle by selling arms to both sides. Egypt's resources don't get exploited until a stable government (one beholden to the US)where the resources are located takes control of that area.

The weaker Israel's enemies in the region, the better for Israel. It can concentrate on Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria, etc.

This situation could go on till the end of time. The US, munitions merchants, and Israel all have a lot to gain from this situation. Assuming Egypt exports oil as a revenue source, this oil will not enter the world market to compete with oil from other nations and thus prices will remain high (and guess who benefits from this?).

However, once Egypt gets stabilized (expect a strong man backed by and friendly to the US) the oil in reserve will flow to US companies first. This is the situation you can expect in Lebanon and Syria.

It's an old, cynical game. Welcome to Kissingerian geo-politics.

Utter chaos.

The Muslim Brotherhood will once again be banned from the land as it has since it's inception.

More blood will flow before order is restored but it will be very late for the hungry and the poor. The major source of income in Cairo and up the Nile river is Tourism.

Seen anybody booking a trip there lately?

Nor have I. Money is swirling down the drain and food is disappearing at an alarming rate. Civil unrest is rife throughout the land and the common man cannot for the life of himself figure out what the hell to do.

The military is in control right now and they are looking for a way to appease the people in another election. But the bloody clash with the supporters of Morsi in the last week have found the interim Vice President vacating his office in protest of the violent actions taken against fellow Egyptians.

There is hope; but only if they get rid of the Muslim Brotherhood once and for all.

Two years ago when Mubarek went down I said to anyone who would listen to me "this opens up the doors to the Muslim Brotherhood and they will do everything dirty and clean to get into office".

A year ago I told anyone who would listen the advancement of the Muslim Brotherhood into office by election is one of the most horrendous mistakes in their democracy because the Muslim Brotherhood will do their best to turn the land into an Islamic state hell bent on Shariah Law for one and all.

Last month the Egyptians with the brains in their head stood up to Morsi and his thugs and demanded that his Islamic machine in government be disassembled. The military had to do that. It's a shame.

One of three things will happen.

They will rid themselves of the Muslim Brotherhood altogether for good, then rebuild from the ashes back into a prosperous state.

Or they will rid the country of the Muslim Brotherhood and end up with a military backed one state government again.

Or they will crumble into the sands of Egypt and never get back up again as a nation. They will live in chaos and danger until the second coming.

Think how much of American money has gone to them every year. Over a billion dollars of our tax money. Obama should step up to the plate and stop the money now. Even that won't stop their fighting and feuding over in the Middle East. Mubarak at least kept peace in his country for many years and with Israel. Unless Egypt has a true leader who cares for the people's best interest, there will be no peace and the military will continue trying to keep peace if that's possible.

We need to start our own action now to get oil flowing in this country and open the Alaskan Pipeline.

Morsi has to be off the agenda and his supporters

should be off the streets of Egypt. The new Government

should be in action with new laws implemented and fast

such as protestors and brotherhoods for an overthrown

government should be arrested if they are seen on the streets.

A curfew should be put in Cairo and surroundings to control

the violence. Egypt will eventually settle down.

They are killing Christians, 600+ dead. I say that the Pope will step in, he has to do so...Obama got nothing.
