Actually, we know that cats do not have 9 lives. It was just an adage, referring to how it seems that cats can seem to escape a potentially deadly situation without any harm. For example, cats can fall relatively long distances yet land on their feet and walk away as if nothing happened. Try that with a human, and you get a human who ends up badly injured or totally dead.
It doesn't literally mean we think you can kill a cat 8 times and have it come back to life...
If Humans really did have 9 lives, and you started over as a baby each time, that would make the average Human lifespan somewhere between 500 and 600 years, barring wars, injuries and terminal illnesses. Unless you cut our reproductive rates by about 90%, the planet wouldn't be able to support all the humans.
Biologically, creatures with long lives have low rates of reproduction. So human females would only ovulate every, say, 5 years. Males aren't as liable to evolutionary pressure but, because human females would be infertile for long periods of time, sperm production might decrease.
Sociologically, relationships would change. Marriage might be geared to life-stage. So, there'd be 1st-stage marriage but if one of the spouse's used up a life, they'd be eligible for a 2nd-stage marriage. They'd, of course, have the option of staying with their first spouse.
Diseases would change. We can't know if loosing lives changes a person's immune response but lethal viruses would have more chances to move through a non-dying population.
As a species our actions would become exponentially more idiotic.

They're already trying to reduce the population now. Have you heard that for decades they've been using cancer causing ingredients in baby shampoo? It must be working because cancer is now at epidemic levels.

People say or even legend has it that cats have 9 life which obviously hasn't been proven wrong or right. But what would happen if humans actually had 9 lifes ?
