They like the morals the show teaches the individual. As the subtitle says for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
No matter how hard life can get, or how irritating your friends can be, they will always be there for you in the end. Always be happy and grateful for what you have, because others may have it worse.
I'm a girl and not a bronie myself(yes, girls can be bronies too), but I think that's adorable. So what if grown men are bronies? To each their own as I always say.

Hello! Brony here. While I can't speak for everyone, I can sum it up. It's important to note most bronies aren't *exactly* full grown men. We're mostly high school and college kids who grew up on the cartoons of the 90s and early 00s, which is where most of FIM's staff has its experience. So, nostalgia is a big part.
Also, most bronies are admittedly on the "geek" end of the spectrum so are more likely to have liked cartoons and animation before FIM came out in 2010. Which reminds me: it's important to note bronies by definition like Friendship Is Magic (post-2010 MLP) only. Anything before that is generally disliked.
FIM's creator, Lauren Faust, made it specifically to to make it tolerable if not enjoyable to kids AND adults. She didn't expect brony levels, but she just takes it as an über victory! On top of that, the staff, Hub, and Hasbro are fully aware and supportive of us, even throwing us shout outs.
Beyond that, it's liked for reasons including fluid animation, interesting setting, relatable characters, decent writing, good morals, catchy music, lightheartedness, classic cartoon comedy and physics, subtle adult and "intelligent" references (e.g. a Big Lebowski cameo. No kid would get that, but it's there), dialogue that doesn't talk down to its audience, and a crew that cares.

Alright I live in ontario and I'm gonna have to agree they just keep on coming its annoying. Considering the whole thing started in Virginia. They're like migrants to my good country. What has America brought me WWHHHAAAATT!!!!?? Other than good television shows and I think I've actually ordered a few things off amazon...
Honestly.. I don't know. Teenagers and grown men who like a show directed for children? My brain hurts thinking about it.
You see, for people who dont know what a brony is, its a guy who like my little pony. there must be over 1,000 bronies in Ontario.
