After Moffatt and Gatiss are done making Doctor Who- which is currently filming
there won't be any Sherlock for many months but they have already started plotting series 4 & 5

Probably be in another 2 years, going by the gap in previous series.
Soon, hopefully. John is spending too much time collaborating with Moffat and Gatiss, and spending not nearly enough time on cases with me.
