it's the fans. supernatural has an insane fanbase that keeps the ratings going and cw is a sucker for a stable show with steady ratings. so blame the fans for keep the (nearly) dead horse alive. i'd quit while i was ahead if i were you and start watching another show. it's hard but i think it can be done. for the greater good.
What do you mean why is this happening to you? It's a great show. Why shouldn't a great that people enjoy continue on. Not every tv show gets to reach 10 season or go beyond that. Be grateful it wasn't cancelled 4 seasons in.
Because supernatural is amazing. Even if it was canceled misha would keep making episodes by himself in his basement
