GW Bush on the other hand, was only interested in the welfare of your super wealthy, and he was not afraid to openly admit this, having done so on several occasions.
Judging by your question, you need far more Al Gores in the US of A.
Had he been President instead of Bush, the USA would certainly not be in the economic state that it currently is, and far more American soldiers would still be alive today.
And maybe, just maybe, he might have listened to the people around him who were warning about possible terror attacks on your country, and acted to ensure that something like 9/11 could not have happened.
Moron Bush was so busy cutting taxes for his friends, and relaxing financial controls so that they could make an even bigger killing, that he completely took his eye off the ball.
But what can you expect from a guy who's brain is addled from years of alcohol abuse, and who's only incentive in life is to get one over on his own father !
The guy ripped up your constitution with the "patriot act", totally surrounded himself and his cronies with lifelong immunity against prosecution, then broke almost every aspect of the Geneva War Convention, which practically turned the whole world against your country !

It's 12 years later and still people don't realize that AL GORE was responsible for what happened. Yet everyone tried to blame GEORGE BUSH for what happened saying cruel things like he just did it as an excuse to protect his oil reserves. AL GORE set up 9/11 as a revenge plan. He was still a whiny crybaby about losing the election, so he orchestrated 9/11 to try to embarrass GEORGE BUSH and discredit him as a president. It's not fair. It's just like a liberal to kill thousands of people and blame it on the republicans for their own political gain. We need to expose him and get him to admit what he did to those innocent people.
