Jimmy is the affectionate name for St James hospital in Leeds. The same as St Bartholomew's in London is called Barts for short. It is not named after Savile although he worked as a voluntary porter there.
'Jimmy's' is obviously short for St James's, its just an affectionate nickname. In 1881 the Medical Superintendent of the Leeds Union Infirmary was Dr James Allen. He retired in 1925 and it was named St James's Hospital, to honour him, and also Sir James Ford, of the Leeds Board of Guardians, who had overseen the conversion from workhouse to hospital.
It really is a witch hunt now isnt it. Did you not know its name is St James and "Jimmie" or "Jim" is a shortened form of James. I bet you wanted that pulled down.? It has nothing to do with Jimmy Saville.
