it's not i find it amazing....just watching anybody with a major disability do every mundane chores is fascinating to watch so seeing them try and do sport is incredible to witness. i bet these guys can do thing you ya abled bodied guy could never dream of doing a full set of limbs is wasted on most people including me - all i do is drink smoke and abuse my fully functioning body - burger king yum sports and keep fit and a healthy lifestyle? terrible idea and gross i cannot even be bothered with it.
but i think the paralympics does discriminate i have a mental illness serve enough that i passed my ATOS medical 2 years ago yet i've never once since the schizophrenic polt volt, the bi-polar triathlon, anorexic discus, or the clinically depressed 100 meter hurdles - etc.
I'm really trying to get into the Para-Olympics but personally i'm finding some of the events very hit & miss like some are very exciting but some of the games e.g swimming are very slow. But never the less i have the utmost respect for all of the athletes taking part. Also Channel 4 coverage isn't as good as BBC.
THey certainly are NOT boring- 100% better than that other Olympics!
What fantastic achievements from people who are very seriously disable - absolutely delightful indeed - can't stop watching - help!!
I Dont like sport of any kind.but if you normally do and you find the disabled ones boring I can only suggest they may be a bit slower as these unfortunate people probably cant do things as fast ?
It is channel four that is making it boring, by not showing coverage of the events.
While the BBC showed coverage non stop,C4 are in the studio talking most of the time....
Because the way Channel 4 is hosting it is rubbish. They don't show enough events, they don't commentate that much and they put adverts during the paralympics! It's such a shame! But the paralympics are amazing to watch, it's just so inspirational!
that is an opinion, not everybody think that they are boring. try watching something different if you think that is so boring. why even watch it in the first place? watch something more exciting

You have a choice, you don't need to watch them. If other people like them, that is fine. Everyone is entitled to enjoy whatever they wish!
they're way more interesting than the olympics cos of all the stories, different sports/categories/disabilities.
