You like all the same shows as me (Lost is my favorite TV show of all time), so I'm hoping I can help you out a bit.
Did you catch up on all of The Walking Dead? I find that it gets a little better in the later seasons. You're not going to find a show that can really top Breaking Bad, seeing how although it IS slightly overrated, is considered one of the greater TV shows of all time, but here's a list of the shows that I've seen and liked:
- I tried Hannibal for a couple of episodes. It's not bad, just a little bloody and confusing. My Grade: B
- I've always been a sucker for Gossip Girl. Sure, it's a little cheesy at times, but I love the characters and the setting. I've must have seen the entire series at least three times now.. My Grade: A
- If you like The Walking Dead, you'll probably like The Vampire Diaries. It takes a little while to get into, and although it really isn't on the same caliber as the shows you've mentioned, it's entertaining. And the entire cast is beautiful. Lol. My Grade: A
- You might like Sons of Anarchy. It's about a motorcycle gang. Again, the caliber isn't AS high as Breaking Bad, but it's definitely interesting. My Grade: B+
- If you're not afraid of getting into tv shows that are a little more graphic than most, try Orange Is The New Black. It's fantastic. You've probably heard about it (however it's only on Netflix). It shows a lot of nudity and lesbian sex in it seeing how they're in a women's prison, but it's so entertaining and a really well-written show. My Grade: A+
- Try The Blacklist! I feel like that's something you'd really be into. Google it if you don't know what it is. It's such a well-directed and well-written show. The cast really sucks you into it week by week. My Grade: A+
- Here are some other shows that you may like: True Blood, Weeds, Mad Men, House of Cards, American Horror Story, and Boardwalk Empire.
5. The office
It has Steve Carrell and he's funny as **** no doubt about it. Its a good funny office themed show, it has 8 seasons I think. Its also on Netflix.
4.Dexter
Really good, on Netflix 9 seasons I think I can't remember I think I'm mixed up with another TV show sorry if I'm wrong
3.american horror story
Thrilling and horror....... A little. Whether u like a little scare or thrillers this is your show it on Netflix. Seasons (idk)
2.Red Band Society
OK this show came out a couple of weeks ago but look at the ratings, its a decent drama/humorous show, can find it on fox Wednesdays 9/8 central
1. The big bang theory
Holy ****, I've talked to people about this show and they said they don't like it because they can't understand it but they use some pretty complicated words but either way its a goooooooooddd show currently in its 7th or 8th season now , not on Netflix????i would rate it 9.3/10
American Horror Story. I'm sure you've heard of it before. It is, as the title would lead you to believe, a horror show which changes topics every season. The first season, Murder House, was about a house filled with creepy ghosts, a depressed teenager, and a cheating husband who cries while he m*sturbates (is that word allowed here?). The second season, Asylum, was about a mental institution that specializes in shock therapy, as well as a killer on the loose who walks around in other people's skin (literally) and a nun who's been inhabited by Satan (ironically, her Superior likes her better this way). Finally, Coven, the third season, takes place in New Orleans and centers around a group of witches who are all trying to be the reigning "Supreme" and take the sociopathic current Supreme's supremacy away; from the Stevie Nicks-obsessed swamp rat, to the former child actress, to the boring stick in the mud that no one likes (Zoe is essentially useless), Coven was AHS's gold-mine for comedy. The next season, airing this coming Wednesday, takes place at a Freak Show (which is also the name sake) that's run by Elsa Mars in 1950s Jupiter, Florida.
Alias and Fringe were both by the same creative team that was behind Lost. Both are great shows. I personally prefer Alias, but Fringe had a lot going for it. Heroes was similar as well, but had issues with later seasons. The Americans is interesting in that it's about a pair of Soviet spies in the US during the 1980s. As a viewer, you have to decide whether to root for them or for the FBI agents who are after them. And Orphan Black is a great thriller - it's hard to say much without giving away spoilers, though. Suffice to say that it's got a lot of drama, action and twists and is one of the better shows of the past few years. Continuum is a sci fi show that started out slowly but became really good when it hit its stride.
i love lots of series but theses are the ones i love that sound like they suite you
i love "castle" i find it heavily addictive and enticing i started watching it at the beging and i havent been able to stop since. i also love the idea of "grimm" but didnt watch much of it as i was buisy watching other things. but the one i think would suite you the most is "supernatural" it is not my favourite of the three i like castle a little more but thats only because castle is a little less scary and im not a big fan of scary, but after readying what you wrote i think you will be sucked into supernatural for sure.
Try Criminal Minds, or House. I suprisingly got really into Desperate Housewives lol
I've watched a lot of shows recently, some I love a lot but I haven't found a show I've really gotten into since Breaking Bad when I watched it about a year ago. The only other show I was super addicted to was Lost. I've tried Game of Thrones, didn't really like it, I watch The Walking Dead and I like it but it's overrated... Closest I've gotten since was Prison Break but I stopped watching it after Season 1. May pick it up again but I don't see where it's going. I feel like I've tried nearly every show. So could someone recommend me a few that are addicting and immersive? I don't care if it's ended or not. Please give a description or say why it's good, don't just list 50 TV shows.
