You are asking why the Holocaust not have been prevented. I have left you a link,but I don't think its much use to you. You might as well ask why could not the Nazis rise to power and the 2nd world war be prevented as they go hand in hand. Many thousands of people died to try and end the war,and few people outside Germany knew about the Holocaust until the end of the war.

Instead of relying on the internet for everything why don't you go to a library and get some books about Hitler's rise to power.

Most people welcomed Hitler into power, and joined in his hatred against the Gypsies and then the Jews. By the time they realized what was going on with his "Final Solution" they felt it was too late to do anything out of fear of their own lives and the lives of their family.

The holocaust could have been prevented. More people just needed to stand up and do the right thing.

Many libraries rent DVD movies. Check out Schindler's List, which is based on a man who eventually did stand up against the Nazis and managed to save a few dozen Jewish people from the death camps. If he could save so many, what if there had been just a few more like him? Or even 100?

system was too great for the German people and they agreed enough with Hitler to support him.They elected him, and followed him. I think that this was their choice.

According to science, the physics problem 'grandfather principle' or the 'tachyonic antitelephone' prevents us from traveling back into time to kill Hitler and prevent WW-2 and the Holocaust.

The movie "Inglorious Bastards" does give us this particular bit of 'ego-fantasy'. To me it says, 'How I killed Hitler, and ended WW2'.

Because people, specifically-speaking the 1930's equivalents to today's left wing, "progressive" liberals, namely the vast majority of the German people & England's Neville Chamberlain looked the other way. In other words, they took the appeasement route with Hitler and the German National Socialist (Nazi) party. Appeasement="hopefully if I just be nice to them, they'll be nice to me".
