Cause somebody has to be the bad guy on soaps to make it exciting. Just wait about Jen cause when you finds out that her precious JJ slept with Eve she might try and kill Eve. Also Will might go and get in trouble when he finds out Paul still loves Sonny.

The s/l's are part of their characters .... not everyone is perfect like Jen and Hope.

Because they have to come up with storylines to make the show better.

That is why there are lots of scenes that are on the edge of your seat type of storyline.

People live vicariously through these soap operas, so it is a way of "getting away with murder" so to speak.

YOU DO KNOW IT ISN'T REAL CRIMES

I mean the characters on Days of Our Lives like for example Sami Brady committed so many crimes and everything. Her son Will Horton committed crimes too and he WAS my favorite character until he committed crimes and I am SOOOO disappointed in him. I don't like him anymore. And some other characters as well. So disappointed in him! :-(

I had a mega crush on him until he did all those bad things.
