US Customs and Border Protection agents are armed.
If you'd bothered checking instead of just believing stupid sh*t, you'd know that.

Uh...unless things have recently changed in the last few months, I can indeed tell you that border guards are armed.
I was on a tour bus and an agent boarded our bus at a check point in Arizona, just a few miles from the Mexican border. You could clearly see the holster for his pistol. There were other guards outside armed with M16 rifles. They also had dogs sniff the outside of the bus - to make sure we weren't sneaking anyone underneath or in a false panel.
I very much doubt these men would have run and hid if someone opened fire on them.
We had to show our passports even though we were still in America and weren't even going into Mexico. Yeah, so much for "Freedom" and all that... Keep in mind, we were still in America, we were coming from the northwest, and except for me and the bus driver, everyone else was Chinese. (it was a Chinese tour company.)
Seriously, I felt like I was going into East Germany back in the 80s when I was in high school and our class was going to visit Berlin.
I was reading something about this. I didn't know whether to believe it or not, because it was on one part of a blog that I accidentally stumbled on. If this is true, it is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. It sounds like homeland security is trying teach our troops to be cowards. Whoever came up with this needs to be fired. If they cannot be armed, and use force, there is no need to have them guarding anything. I guess we will be taken over by illegals. Obama is no help. He needs to go, and take the homeland security idiot (don't care about Americans) cowards with him.
What is this country coming to?
Pelosi's statement had nothing to with the border. Maybe if you read more news from more sources you would learn.
