Now, she has adapted and applied a reason:
She does it so the song will remain unaffected by the artist (her)
while the audience listens to the piece without any outside influence ....
including her facial and physical activity .... and thereby, any added interpretive values.
So, if they can not see her, and how *she* is interpreting the song while she is singing it,
the audience is supposed to be left to listen to the piece and not *see* anything distracting ....
even though her hair and her butt add a dimension all their own.
Some people say she has anxiety, others say that she doesn't want to be famous.
I think she's just a freak, and she knows it...
But she did it in the past...
I've seen videos of Sia performing "Chandelier" on both the Ellyn Show, and the Jimmy Kimmel Show. But whenever she performs live, she doesn't show her face, she just faces backwards. Why?
