The Council of American Islamic Relations is one of the major organizations representing American Muslims that issues statements condemning every act of terrorism committed since it was formed. Here is their website if you want to read some of the prs:

Their are also countless mosques and Islamic centers across the country issuing similar statements. Do a google search to see for yourself.
So the question then becomes if all these statements are being issued why aren't you hearing them? That's an entirely different question which will take much more space to answer.

You should listen to foreign broadcasts and you would hear some wisdom.
You dont understand that the violence exists for a reason. And most of the violence in the last 20 years is due to American micro-management and funding of corrupt leaders and invading countries and using missile and drone strikes to kill children and women. Just for starters.
EDIT to ASKER: I dont support the violence toward America but I understand why many people might feel that way. I think America is wrong in its strategy to get the Middle East more pro-American. But Muslim reaction did not pop out of thin air and some of them are using the Syrian crisis to try and oust a secular Assad to install an Islamic government.
There are liberals and conservatives in all religions. Maybe the answer to your question is how can powerless populations of other countries influence their leaders if we cant influence ours to stop our brutality ?
Because it goes against their beliefs - which is kill anyone that does not believe what we believe. They do not care if children (who are too young to form a belief or decide on one) gets killed. Those Muslims that talk about non-violence in the Qu'ran fails to tell you that later text supersedes earlier text. The later parts of the Qu'ran speaks of killing all infidels because the whole world MUST believe in and follow Allah and if you don't you are dead meat.

I am sure Muslim leaders do once in a while, however why is there no large scale campaign to get rid of extremism?
A lot of the non-Muslim world are beginning to HATE your religion because of this.
BTW, most Muslims who respond to these type of question respond either defensively or attack non-Islam or Western habits. This is irrelevant in this question!
