It all has to do with ratings. This shows rattings are high so no it will not be cancelled. My advise to you is don't watch it.
The X Factor US has been canceled by Simon (or so I hear it has) yet American Idol has not and I have no clue why. That is a very good question I really have no clue why that even is. The ratings are at an all time low for Idol too bad doesn't look like it will be canceled anytime soon.
It was really on the verge of being cancelled last year. It was the worst season ever. But honestly, it's better this year. I think hiring Harry Connick Jr was a smart move.
Ratings still aren't that low enough to get canceled yet
Until the rating take a big hit like drop out of the top 50 then 100
then it might be finally done with
next season might be the last one
Because enough people still watch it to keep it going.
Talk about beating a dead horse.
