Everyone is obsessed with zombies and it's so weird. I will never watch an episode of The Walking Dead. I might as well watch Harry potter. It's more realistic lol

It sounds like you are just trying to be a non conformist. Walking dead isn't just about killing zombies, its about watching the characters develop and adapt to a post apocalyptic world. Not only that but the special effects and the make up is some of the best work I've ever seen. It has millions of fans for a reason. Its one of the best shows on tv right now.

It's pretty much because of The Walking Dead, I watched the entire series so far and I don't even know why it's so depressing it's never going to get better for those people.

It's for those who like the thrill, and suspense of watching the struggle for survival. It's not enjoyed for it's realism. If it was realistic there would be no appeal. It's for entertainment purposes, nothing more.

Now.... Lets remove that stick. It seems like it's wedged pretty deep. It's okay, you can trust me. Bend over.

Considering the Emptiness of so many of Their Lives, maybe it's because they're People They can Relate to... ;)

Because too many of us are brainless zombies being controlled by big brother and sitting around complaining about irrelevant things while the government passes legislation that is slowly taking away our rights.

It plays on a lot of fears: a fate worse than death, a contagious disease, your loved ones turning against you, mindless violence, the collapse of our society, the challenge of survival.

On the positive side, It often shows human strangers banding together to fight a common enemy. Also, Americans like action, and zombie movies tend to provide a lot of action.

I'm just using "zombie outbreak" as a cover Incase the government comes knocking.

"But officer I need all this stuff Incase zombie hordes attack my home...."
