The thing is he is not legally married to five women. He is legally married to the first wife and he just lives with the others and just refers to them as his wives. That is not illegal. That is how they get away with it.

He's only legally married to his first wife. The others had a sort of commitment ceremony with him. This is there loophole.

If a man can marry another man, then why not 3 or more people being married to each other, or to animals? Who has the right to define marriage?

So Polygamy is ILLEGAL in the U.S ...WHY is this show "My five Wives " Allowed on Televsion!? giving people ideas that its "ok" to break the law? Yeah I know that its still practiced even though its illegal in alot of places over in UTAH like where the show takes place. However, that gives it the right to be aired on television? Its like giving people who sell drugs, murder or do narcotics their on television show even though it is illegal?
