That's like people saying they hate other countries when they haven't even been there.
However, that aside, I do actually agree with you. I have seen it, and I'm a huge graphic novel and comic book fan.
And honestly I agree with you that zombies have been done to death.
"The Walking Dead" graphic novel is fantastic, and of course it's the way of the world to put any successful literature on the big screen these days. So to answer your question, they are merely giving the public what it wants. And obviously people can't get enough of the same thing over and over lol.
My advice is watch at least 1 episode for yourself, and then you can make up your own mind.
It's not just about zombies, ye it's based around them, but so much more happens. So many people like it, and some people hate it also. There's not much you can do about it. If someone wants to like it so be it. No point judging it if you haven't seen it. And if it's not your thing then oh well, no ones forcing you to watch it. Just let the twd fans have their moments, because they love the show and enjoy it thoroughly.
People make the mistake of thinking the show is about zombies..
It's not.
It's a character driven show on how much a person can change when faced with an impossible situation.
When the world they know disappears from under them.
That's why I love the show..the characters are amazing..
The zombies are almost like background noise now...
It's about people surviving a zombie apocalypse and other people mixing drama and zombie killing.
Never watched the show, because it sounds really stupid. So many things out there are zombies and vampires and werewolves, and soon, they all get old. Why is this show so popular with so many people? My friends were freaking out because it comes back tonight, but I don't get it. Honestly, I think they have serious issues. Will someone please help me understand what is so good about this stupid show?
