The urge to compete and conquer is essential to our nature and our very existence. How long do you think your distant relatives would have gotten if they had been a kind, caring bunch of wooses? A few days at most. Our species survived because they were the nastiest group of SOBs on the planet. Now that they don't need that edge, they still can't grow beyond it. They simply don't have the sophistication to transcend their primitive beginnings that enabled them to get this far. In other words, our species is done. All that is left to us now is how we go out. You can't make a silk purse out of a cow's ear, and we have MOOOOOved about as far as we can in this antiquated Human costume..
War is just an other expression of our egoistic desire, you can see it on any level of human relations. Today we are all under the influence of a system that drives us to be competitive, selfish and ignorant, which results in the feeling of others being our enemies. Wars are inevitable in such a mindset. In order to change the way humanity thinks about each other there has to be an inner awakening, a strong demand for such change. Luckily this is exactly what is happening in this era, it is visible all over internet. All we need is an aditional small push for everybody to be a part of it. Let the process begin! War is about power. Humans are political animals and sometimes the struggle for power becomes physical.
Wars defeated tyranny and slavery and the Nazis and Communists. They were evil, not the wars against them.

If everybody does, it makes sense..... even if a majority of people do, it still makes some sense, but there are not even a handful who want to.... for a lot of people, war and conflict are exciting and adventurous. How incorrigible fools we are!
