One family wasn't even bothered that the completely wrong picture of their murdered kid was all over the news media for almost three weeks after. Nobody else was either, since nobody told them. No friends, family, teachers, anyone. It was the mother of the wrong kid who finally noticed. Oops. They replaced the photo with a similar-looking kid.
Something is clearly not right with Sandy Hook. And I'm getting pretty disgusted with people pretending that there isn't.

On what grounds could a lawsuit be brought forth? The shooter was not a student who got a gun into school. He was a person who barged himself in from the outside. The school was secure but you cannot keep a person from barging in. The classroom door was not locked? Well, no. That would be against fire codes. The students have to have a way to get out.
I can't see what grounds a lawsuit would be brought against the school.
As for the estate of Nancy Lanza, that is different. The families were waiting for a report on her assets which have been hard to trace (this woman was a little different). There was no need filing if she was ready to file bankruptcy herself or something. Just this past Feb they determined she had only $64,000 but that did not include any insurance she might have had. Once all that gets sorted out, I expect attorney Irving Pinsky to file against her estate on behalf of some of the victims. There won't be any community outrage over that I imagine.
I also believe Pinsky did file a lawsuit for 100 million against the school district on a behalf of a 6 year old survivor but withdrew it after community backlash. Apparently the people of Newtown, survivors and victims, have all just had enough of the "file suit!" mentality and in reality, there are no real grounds on which they could win one against the school. The school, in reality, did nothing wrong. The only two people who did things wrong were Adam Lanza (for the killings spree) and Nancy Lanza (who had guns easily obtainable by her mentally disturbed son).
However, don't let facts and real information get in the way of your need for conspiracy theories and drama. LOL
11 families are now preparing to file suit; possible targets include the town, the Newtown Board of Education, and the Newtown Police Department and/or other local safety offices,
Who would you sue? The shooter and his mom are dead.
There was no negligence on the part of the school or the school board.
Wake up people!! No way did a mentally ill, shy child with no tatical training go in to a school and kill 26 out of 26 targets without wounding ONE SINGLE person!! Not a chance! No video? The Columbine shooting the videos were out in a matter of hours! There are ways of getting them even if they didnt' want them released! But if they don't exist then you won't see them... Like in the Sandy Hoax event. WAKE UP! hollywood is still working on the auido tapes that may be release when they are finished!
Oh did I mention Fast and Furious were Eric Holder sold guns that were used in the killing of a US border patol agent? yeah that whole plan was to turn the US public against guns and to gun control! He should be in prison on murder charges!!
What was there to sue the school for ? It was not their fault that guns are so freely available in America. They cant help one lad going mental. I expect they didnt want to extend the pain of losing their children,and NO it was not faked.
No bodies, no blood, no photos, no footage, no lawsuits.

In all other school shootings, the parents of the victims sued the school district. In the alleged Sandy Hook shooting, not ONE parent of an alleged victim has sued.
There was one suit filed by the parent of a child who was KNOWN not to be a victim, but it was thrown out.
Why did none of the parents sue?
