Will Dallas be renewed for 2015?

official word but the Rating have been very bad

"The third season began airing in late February and the first episode was down by 11% when compared to the second season opener. That was a reasonable decline but then the second installment dropped by 27%. The numbers dropped even lower as the season progressed.

Year-to-year, Dallas is down by 26% in viewership and down by 38% in the 18-49 demographic. It’s one of TNT’s lowest-rated scripted series and that’s not a good sign for the show’s future prospects. It also has a large cast so that means it’s not a cheap series either.

On the positive side, there’s some financial incentive to keep the show going. Dallas is produced by Warner Horizon Television which, like TNT, is part of the Time Warner corporation. Also, at the end of season three, there will only be 40 episodes. That’s not enough for a syndication package so if the execs are on the fence about whether to renew or cancel, that could work in the show’s favor.

I suspect that TNT will renew Dallas for a fourth season but, with ratings like these, the show could certainly be cancelled."

I read it was being cancelled. So sad. I love the show. Been watching the first time it was on air. Thought the storyline was getting great!!! At least do a finale to end it for us!!!!!

It's not reached that stage here in the UK yet. We had JR Jnr.'s second wedding last week and I have yet to watch my recorded next episode. Don't tell me where you hope Christopher gets out of!!!!!

ps I'm not sure another series is warranted to be honest - the storyline is very weak this time round much as I'm loving some individual performances - Judith Light is brilliant, for starters.

Fourth series? I think we here are only seeing a second series at the moment, unless I forget LOL.

TNT has dropped it but Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray are spearheading a campaign to have it picked up by another network. I think CBS should grab it up and get it back to where it all started!

It won't matter to us out here in west Texas. They are part of Viacom & our lousy cable company cut them off. I like John Ross who could actually do JR proud.

Yes it will! and it better because i need to find out what happen to Christopher, they can't leave this cliffhanger and not continue on to the next season! I just hope he gotten out!!

No. They just cancelled it. Sorry.

For now but this might be it.

I hope not!

not sure yet no word yet.

No, it has been cancelled.
