Will Obama rip Romney to shreds in the first debate?

Probably not. Every time I have heard Obama speak he says a lot of words and rambles on and on forever, but never really says anything. So by doing nothing but beat around the bush, Obama will not get anywhere.

Romney's problem is not that he hasn't improved his debating skills which he did during the Republican primaries and began to beat Newt Gingrich who was considered a good debater. Romney's problem is he never appears comfortable before a camera. Obama seems at ease and is able to banter with anyone as if he were just chatting with a friend. Romney seems stiff like he is pretending to be at ease but really doesn't want to be there and not just debates but when he campaigns. His smile and his body language all seem contrived. Like President Truman wasn't a good speaker, Someone must have told him to make hand gestures but when he did he held them perfectly Parallel to each other and made awkward looking stabbing motions. Kennedy was very good before a camera and Reagan was the master but of course he had been a movie actor so why shouldn't he be able to perform in front of a camera. The camera is intimidating just point a camera at someone and watch how their manner and speech change as they try to impress the camera. So no matter what they say it will be the body language and the ease or lack of it that will be a greater influence on people who are undecided. Those who have made up their minds will not be swayed by the debates but Just watching to see how their guy does.

More than likely.

Romney does not have Obama's oratory skills.

If Romney had any wisdom in his race for the whitehouse he'd let loose his running mate and sit back. The votes would come crashing through Romney's door!

But the debate? Obama will win that, just as sure as fat dogs fart! Obama will win the debate.

No, I think both candidates will have equally as good performances. I think Mitt Romney will show better abilities to govern wheras Obama will seem more social and less angry. I think in the VP debate Paul Ryan will do better then Joe Biden.

If Romney takes a jab at Obama's ego Obama will lose his cool.

-He won't have to. He'll just let allow Rich Romney to put His foot in his Mouth a few times, -& let Us Viewers "Decide." :)

Romney has been pretending to be a "severe conservative" for several years now. He's very black and white, using words like always, and never. Lots of short simple slogans. In short, a big idealogouge.

Obama, on the other hand, is much more pragmatic and reasonable. All things being equal, in a debate, the person who is pragmatic and reasonable usually wins.

Remember what Obama did to Alan Keyes. Keyes was a super right-wing conservative and he got his *** handed to him.

If Romney has another "etch a sketch" moment and appears more moderate, than he might do better.
