Based on what you like, I think you'd enjoy it. It's equally funny, creepy, and compelling, and really just has a well-written storyline for the most part (at least until season 7, in my opinion). Some seasons are notably better than others (1, 4, and 6 were the best for me), but even the ones that aren't quite as good are still worth watching, for continuity's sake if nothing else. You should give it a try, I'm pretty sure you'll like it!

Yes it seems like you like drama, the first to fourth seasons are worth watching but the last ones were not as good.

I CAN'T get past the fifth season. Everyone SPOILED the ending so I no longer have any interest in it. I MIGHT give the books a try.
