This just shows they are mismatched, Neil wants the offical marraige/white picket fence and Leslie wants a committed relationship without a marraige license, both sides were unwilling to compromise with the other.
I have to side with Leslie though, I'm a guy but I share her POV on marraige. The way I see it is if you truly love someone you don't need a piece of paper holding you to them, and you don't need some grand ceremony to prove it either, you either are with the person or you're not. I also think marraige is nothing but deception before god, how can two people stand up in a church and make promises they know deep down they cannot keep? Don't get me wrong I'm find with committed relationships, nothing wrong with two people spending their entire lives together but no to marraige.
I'm not, but I sure hate to see a man cry. I think that they have 0 chemistry and that he didn't really listen to Leslie during the engagement. He also hasn't known her all that long, same as her brother with Abby, so I think they should take a break. I don't care for the two of them together personally. I read in the scoops that he grants her a life long wish to be on The Price is Right!
I think I'm more sad for Leslie, because she feels that marriage will never be for her. I don't think Neil should've been trying to convince her of marriage, it's just best to be someone who values the same things as you.
The only time I am sad about Neil and Leslie are when they are on ..... there s/l's mean nothing a waste of time.
No, because he wants to marry and she doesn't, so she thinks that the only way he will be with her if they get married, if she doesn't want to it is just going to be another failed marriage..
He was very sad when she gave back the engagement ring, hope Neil doesn't fall off the wagon and start drinking over this..
She was afraid to get married because she felt marriage would ruin their relationship, but by not getting married to Neil has ruined their relationship. So she is should have taken that step into marriage, she could have made it work, and she might have better off than she is now. I just feel sorry for Neil. I am glad that Lily was there for him.
No, Neil was moving to fast.
No. I never really liked her.
No
no way
Sort of, but it would of been better if they would just lived together.
Why does he think he has to get married?
