I read in the Soapcentral.com scoop/spoilers for down the road that Phyllis makes an explosive return to GC.
Has anyone heard or read any news about a Phyllis recast?
No it hasn't been announced but I am hoping its Michelle Stafford that comes back to play Phyllis.
1. Down the road spoilers are vague at best, down the road could mean a month from now or years from now, and of course when Phyliss comes back it'll be explosive
2. No word on a recast, the producer has been tight lipped on that front, which means one of three things a) they found a recast and want to shock the audience on who the actress is b) they havent' found one and have shelved it for now c) Michelle S has decided to come back as Phyliss
3. Just checked MS's updates and seems she is still doing her webseries (The Stafford Project) and she was recently invited to join the writers guild. With how against the Y&R producer is against actors/actresses doing outside projects while on contract don't expect MS to come back in a contract role, if (big IF) she does she'll be recurring but given how big this s/l will be they will need an actress willing to do a full time contract so that leaves me to believe if Phyliss comes back within the year it'll be as a recast.
I think it might be Michelle Stafford. I noticed on the credits the other day that her name is still listed. Plus, Y & R has been making so many character changes, this would really give them the boost they need right now.
Michelle wanted to go and try some other things and maybe she decided to come back and they're keeping it under wraps. I hope so, that would be awesome. She was perfect for that character.
Not yet. I don't think that they have found anyone yet to play Phyllis. They have a lot of people to replace like Adam and Kyle.

I don't think that will happen until late summer at least.
I sure hope it is Michelle Stafford anyway..no one can replace her!
No, haven't heard any thing about a recast..We can only hope it will be MS..no one else can be Phylliss.
