I seriously think next time I'll have a heart attack. As it is, at the end of that episode my heart was beating to fast that I was actually scared for my life!
Nothing on that show has shocked me since they first beheaded Ned Stark.
And after the Red Wedding, I wouldn't put anything beyond them. So, no, the head-crushing scene didn't really shock me - although I did find it a little unrealistic (not the eye-gouging, the head-crushing part).
It's still stuck in my head... It's certainly one of the most, if not the most, gory things I've seen on the show so far.
I knew exactly what was coming, but I was still a bit surprised by how gorey it was.
I love GoT and yes I know it's violent, but was anyone else shocked or disturbed the way the Mountain gouged Oberyn's eyes and crushed his head?
I was getting right into that episode (like every other), and gobsmacked and shocked... I wasn't expecting it to be that gruesome.
